November Reading Wrap Up

A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Housseini

The Ballad of the Whiskey Robber by Julian Rubinstein
Reason to be Fearful by Andy Thomas

November was a bleak reading month for me as I’ve been writing so much. I finished nanowrimo on roughly around 38000 words. It’s not 50000 but I’m very proud of myself. I hit that number on the 20th November and haven’t really written since because I need time to think.

I only read 1 book which was a re-read of A Thousand Splendid Suns. This is one of my favourite books,  I think it is beautifully written so I was reading it to learn how to write better, which involved me picking the novel apart a lot and a scribbling all over the pages.

I also started reading Ballad of The Whiskey Robber, again, for the second time this year. But I can be excused for this as I am actually reading the physical book for the first time. I also started reading a random self published book I found on amazon kindle unlimited because it features a Transnistrian prostitute as I am still trying to learn more about Transnistria, and this is the first work of fiction I’ve found featuring Transnistria.
